Prague Alteryx User Group Meeting Q2 2022

Is there a better way to learn new skills and deepen your knowledge about a tool than meeting other experts and users and networking with them? I don't think so. Alteryx is known for its broad and lively community of users. It encourages forming user groups across the whole globe. Many user groups hold regular meetings to share the newest updates in the community and network. There is the Prague User group as well, and I am proud to say that the Bits2b team is quite active in organizing the group and planning the events. We are aiming to have one User Group Meeting every quarter. On Tuesday, June 21, we had the second Prague User Group Meeting of 2022.
For a long time, we have met only online because of the corona pandemic. However, for the 2nd quarter, we decided to try a hybrid type of event (which means that people could attend both in-person and online simultaneously). It was the first time we had attempted something like this. But we were encouraged by other user groups who had run hybrid meetings successfully before us. There were weeks of planning, emailing back and forth, visiting the premises, and testing equipment. I give the biggest kudos to the Prague Alteryx Team and their Office Management. They provided the venue for the event and arranged everything around the catering (which was, by the way, excellent!).
The event started around 4 PM. People were slowly showing up and getting ready. After the introduction and welcome speech, Zach Rickers (Bits2b) and Wesley Siu (Alteryx) gave their presentations. After a short Q and A session at the end, we officially ended the live stream and went to network with each other. The last people (including myself) left around 7 PM, so I dare to say it was a well-done event, despite the little chaotic atmosphere and small technical issues. But that is a part of the game when you are doing a hybrid event.
